NAVFAC Service Contracting – Environmental Contracting

Implementation of pollution prevention programs has been effective in supporting a primary mainstay of DoD’s function, i.e., deterrence, by enhancing operational readiness, quality of life, and weapon system modernization goals. This course details NAVFAC’s Environmental Business Line (EVBL) Structure, responsibilities, program execution and full range acquisition vehicles to allow them to meet the Command-wide requirements for the full range of EV issues to minimize risk exposure and meet political and legislative mandates associated with the multitude of environmental issues facing the NAVFAC, Navy, DoD, etc.
