Information Assurance & Cybersecurity
Sunset Design employs in-house Information Assurance and Cybersecurity engineers to establish and maintain confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation of information and information systems.
They have extensive experience with Information Assurance and Data Security including policy development, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, analysis, risk mitigation, computer forensics, security awareness training, interpretation and implementation of security regulations, statutes, directives, and supervision of security programs.
Provisioned as Program Managers by clients, they have successfully accomplished all aspects and requirements for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) under Risk Management Framework (RMF). During the accreditation/authorization process, they have executed Level III Navy Qualified Validator (NQV), Fully Qualified Navy Validator (FQNV), and Senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) activities and responsibilities.
Compliance
Our Information Assurance and Cybersecurity engineers validate that all tools, technologies, and software used to create courseware are fully compliant with government information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices, ensuring compliance with all applicable security requirements.
Our engineers have experience with the latest DoD, DON, ICS, NIST, and FISMA standards in relevant environments and make certain our products comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
We clarify and help stakeholders to understand cybersecurity considerations and concerns.
Training
Our team completes annual Privacy Act, Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and Information Assurance Awareness training each year to ensure all content handled remains secure.
Our engineers keep abreast of emergent technologies and practices through continuing professional education and attending comprehensive industry training.
