The purpose of this course is to provide you with a better understanding of the source selection process. The course is structured into 16 lessons, which will take you from the source selection overview through the solicitation, evaluation and award of an acquisition. The source selection process uses full and open competition to select the offeror (or offerors) for contract award whose proposal will provide the best value solution to meet the Government’s requirements. This course focuses on the source selection policies and procedures of the Department of Defense, with special emphasis on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.
