This training has been developed to provide NAVFAC Construction Managers with some of the basic and fundamental information required to effectively manage NAVFAC Contracts. This training demonstrates where Construction Managers (or CMs) working in a Facilities Engineering Acquisition Division (FEAD) or Resident Officer In Charge of Construction (ROICC) office fit into the NAVFAC organizational structure. It will also show how CMs support NAVFAC’s Strategic Plan and have overall familiarity with the Facility Engineering Commands (FECs), Public Works Departments (PWDs) and the FEAD’s organizational structure, as well as the Modified Work Management process. The target audience for this module is Construction Managers who work in a FEAD or ROICC office with less than 2 years of NAVFAC CM experience, as well as Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Junior Officers working as CMs, and any other interested parties. Part of the NAVFAC CI Construction CM Basic Training series.
