This training includes an explanation of what Construction Quality Management (or CQM) is and the differences between quality control and quality assurance. The risk assessment and quality assurance responsibility analysis will be explained, and the CQM roles and responsibilities for both government and contractor personnel, will be defined. The various required meetings that are part of the CQM process will be covered, along with submittal processing in the three phases of control concept. Required documentation for the CQM process will be reviewed and the Red Zone process and completion inspections will be explained. Part of the NAVFAC CI Construction CM Basic Training series.
