This course reveals the personal and patriotic meaning of the Constitution for every American by answering these two questions: “What is the Constitution?” and “What does it mean to me?” Topics include: How the Constitution applies today; Why we have a Constitution; Why people disagree about the Constitution; What rights the Constitution guarantees; The basic components of the Constitution; and What the Constitution has meant to different people. This training concludes with a chance for you to play the part of a federal judge by comparing your interpretation of the Constitution to actual Supreme Court rulings.
